Transport Canada’s Standards and Regulations Learn what manufacturers and suppliers need to know regarding compliance with the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and Regulations. Presented by: Wayne Duff, Enforcement Officer, Transport Canada
NHTSA, the Vehicle Safety Act and Early Warning Reporting A panel will discuss NHTSA and how it applies to both RV manufacturers and component suppliers to the RV industry. Dealer Warranty and Recall Compliance – What is it good for? This session will cover the RV Dealer’s obligations under Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations. The areas included will be the vehicle recall process, stop sale requirements, and vehicle labeling obligations. The session will review the regulatory text and give real world examples on what is required to comply with these regulations at the dealer level.
